"The Four Immeasurables" (VMR021)= OUT RIGHT HERE!
The first release from THE Zack Kouns and myself....! It's a collection of tracks based on our relationship to presence practices/ meditation. It was a real treat to rip this one with Zack... absolutely deepened by relationship to my own practices/ Zack himself.

"This is Alanis Morisette's New Album"= OUT MEOW!
Freshest release from Zack Kouns / Rick Weaver that I was lucky enough to be on/ master! It's a wild ride that (mostly) has to do with a real-life scenario involing the 90's star-child of that same name.

"A Spittle Filled Blather" by Sun Trash (VMR019)= OUT NOW!
Latest release from the long-time friendship/ process duo of myself and Nick Weckman (Worms Rise Up, Zack Kouns). It's mostly a bunch of songs on de-tuned instruments I wrote at the drumset... We think of it as a record of "depature" truly for the sake of it. It came together during the peak of the pandemic. Nick made the wild art/ play a bunch of clarinet/ brought in a Black Sabbath cover ("Children of the Grave") while I recorded it and played bass/ drums/synths. VERY happy with it's fruits! Out on tape and digital!

Whatever You Niche
A podcast I hosted/ recorded/ helped organize from 2017-2019. It was a podcast about having conversations with people who are very much into a particular topic or are apart of a misunderstood community... Topics included: the fury-fandom, bread making, paganism, woodworking, drug addiction, dungeons & dragons and much much more! Hope to get it going again in 2020 to some capacity.
JNCO
The Jazz/ Noise Collaborative Orchestra. Was a monthly-series myself, Reggie Purdue and Nick Weckman have hosted at Cafe Bourbon Street 2016-2020... bio
Caleb Miller is a keyboardist, saxophonist, composer and educator currently residing in Columbus, OH. His work mostly focuses on midwestern perspectives surrounding improvisational-based music and projects. In Columbus, Caleb plays, writes and subs in many jazz-adjacent projects (Gault, Sun Trash, Here Here, Yumbambe, Radarhill, Ryan Jewell Quintet, Troy Kunkler 4tet), songs-oriented groups (Zack Kouns and His Insatiable Orchestra, pincer, Keating, Fables, Francis Bacon Band, Taylor K Conrad), contemporary classical settings (dance accompanist, classical pianist) and other settings (solo work, audio work, Very Much Recordings, music videos, album artwork, improvising/ creative ensembles). As output he is most interested in productions that show a true synthesis of perspectives, sounds, individuals and communities. Music and projects that truly strive for some form of “newness” regardless of the setting, people or situation. Simply stated things that try to be "their own” in some way or another. Caleb also currently operates the Columbus-based recording label Very Much Recordings and teaches in the American public (!) school system.
